I am still undetermined racial although Karavan aligned. Can one gain tribal fame as undetermined racial homin? I haven't seen any adding on so far.

I had an odd drop in some of my fame scores, perhaps because of the server reset issue after patch. For instance, Karavan dropped from 35 to 33, for no reason I could determine. However I was running Cuzan missions at the time.

All of the tribal fame scores that I had converted to my personal tribal fame, except I have a new -66 for the Lagoon Brothers.

I think by design undetermined can't change their fame. I haven't verified this but it would make sense.

Possibly this lock applies to tribal fame. However, in some instances, I know that tribal fame can, at least, go down. I was in a team that killed Sap Slaves and I am pretty sure I accrued -7 fame with them from this encounter (However, my Dryad fame did not go up at the same time).

you can do missions and still get/lose fame
undetermined kami/kara, do kara mission, +kara, -kami fame

No theyve said your Tribe fames will be locked (cant go up or down) until you choose Citizen or Neutral (locked for Undetermined state) , I also had a blank Tribe tab on my Fame Window after the patch , they told me it was also for that reason and true enough it popped back my Tribe Fames once I went Neutral Civ (on my Tyrker Alt already Neutral on Faction)

Realy dont want to be anything but Undetermined Civ on my main until ive found out what happens to the Tribe caps for each race , could lose out big time :/

I find it hard to believe that there would be a difference between what Nevrax says should happen and what players say happens.

Some other things I find hard to believe in:
-gravity
-that the earth is round
-that it's safe to team with Raku... oh, wait, that one's serious

I never had a blank Tribe tab. I think all of the tribes I had personal fame with were there (although some were mispelled the Cuzans became Cutes and I dislike the new box style) before I took the Karavan rite. At present as undetermine/Karavan, the fame that shows is my personal fame with the Tribes, unmodified by race, faction or guild.

I've had odd things happen since I took the Karavan rite. I accomplished four Cuzan missions. Their name popped on my fame chart but I gained no fame with them, I am at zero. At the same time the Lagoon Brothers popped on my fame chart with -66 fame, although I had done no missions with them. I assume this happened because they are auto-enemies of the Cuzan.

I believe my Sap Slave fame went down for being in a team killed which them, but I'm not positive, I will have to test again. Could this mean that as undetermined your fame can go down but not up?

Ahha got my Tribe cap bars back on my ATS char -but will it last ?

BTW the Earth is flat and shaped like a cone , its just the curvature of space that distorts the veiw and makes it look round also Elvis lives !!!

After the hot-patch, my tribal fame sheet is blank. However I got the Cuzans to reappear by doing a missions and again the Lagoon Brothers appeared at -66. Otherwise, my racial and Karavan/Kami fame is all back to normal after the hotpatch.

As to why do tribal missions, for the adventure! Riveit is a dedicated ethnolographer of Atys. He has been on a quest to do a mission with every tribe and has only a few tribes left to reach. Solo visiting them all has been an entertaining challenge. He had bequeathed Aedan Artisans members a guild fame list of almost all tribes - until the devs eliminated guild tribal fame. :p Also there may be rites buried in these missions, one never knows.

Yup im hoping for some realy nice Tribe Rites n rewards (even if its just plans with a different look) plus ofc Encyclopedia stuff is interesting in its on rite just for the entries and added info. thats realy why im so keen to see the caps before I move away from Undetermined , I know im gonna lose just by how much....

I'm still confused. Has the tribal fame KoS point moved from the previous -80.0001 tribal fame to -50.0001? Will a dozen tribes that are OK with me now start attacking me if I choose Tryker civ?

Do "racially undetermined" homins gain and lose fame? I can't see my chart but I am now getting attacked by Lagoon Brothers as if they were added to my fame chart and now hate me.

However, the Ancient Dryads still are fine with me even though I should have about -75 Ancient Dryad fame. Are they still using the -80 KoS pt because I'm racially undetermined?

Its supposed to be -50 and im now getting killed by the Master of the Goo tribe in Void (should be at -50 with them but cant see any tribe fames on my Zorai main cos of the undetermined race :/) , but they have said to be sure of KoS you need to be -51

. The server rounds fame figure with tribes as a result, at a certain fame number (-50), depending on the rounding, you are either KoS with a tribe or not. We thought you'd like to know that. Best to be -51, at least you are clearly KoS.

It seems to me that the tribal fame is a little buggy in implementation. For example, I had a slight increase in fame with the Ancient Dryads before the patch to -65 (from -66). That is enough to make them cool with me now. However, Pero, who had no relations with them and is presumably -66 now, is now considered fair game for the Dryads to shoot at. I am guessing that they are using my personal mission fame modifier of +1 with the Dryads, instead of the [+1-66]=-65 Dryad fame total. Could the undetermined homins be using the personal fame modifier, e.g. my +1 with Dryads, in cases where the homin has personal fame and using the racial fame default in cases where they have no personal adjustments? Does this match up with your experiences?
