Fame/Citizenship: Keys to Kami/Zorai Fame

Posting as requested by the Trout. If there's anything you'd like removed or changed, let me know and I'd be happy to do so :D

So you're sitting in Zora wondering what the deal is with Kamist and Zoraï fame, huh?
Read on, love, the answers are all here.

Below are maps to the NPC's who give missions as well as the locations of the Bandits to kill, and, yes, I said kill. Wreak havoc upon these enemies of the Kami and Kwaï and win fame and their favor.
Important things to know:
1.Until you have Kami fame greater than 0, the only NPC's who will offer you missions are the Kami Welcomers in the capital cities.
2.Until your Zoraï fame is greater than 0, the only NPC's who will offer you missions are the Patroller and Wu Zhong.
3.There are many other missions offered by each NPC, at lesser fame amounts than the Bandit killing missions. This FAQ will only cover the Bandit missions.
4.If a teammate kills the Bandits you have a mission for, you will typically receive credit for the kill, unless there are multiple team members with the same missions (in which case you keep killing until all team members have completed their missions).
5.Once a spawn of Bandits is wiped out, it takes 5 mins or less for them to respawn to die anew.
6.Most importantly, many of the Kami and Zoraï fame missions overlap, so I strongly recommend you pick up all the missions available to you before leaving Zora to massacre the heathens.

We begin our round the world Kami fame run in Zora:

1. It's up next.

Important Things to Know:
To begin the Zoraï Citizenship Rite:
1. Your Zoraï fame must be 30 or greater.
2. In order to become an Awakened, your Zoraï fame must be greater than 50, and you must be an Initiate.
3. Have 100,000 dappers available. If you don't have that kind of dap, ask Aera to tap into her 'Initate Initiation Funds' and help you out.

This map is a repeat so you don't have to scroll up and look around again.

#6 is Liao Fa-Ling (Dynastic Magistrate): NPC who starts the rite for Zoraï citizenship. Liao is the key to all things Dynastic(read Zoraï) and she's the person to talk to in order to begin your rite. Speak to her and select 'Become a Citizen of the Community'. She will talk a bit and give you a pearl. She then directs you to take said pearl to visit 3 members of the Zoraï community throughout Cities of Intuition. Swear the Oath each asks and read the blurbs given by each citizen, as they are pertinent to the Pop Quiz Liao is going to give you later.

Those 3 citizens are (must be visited in the below order):

Do-Vi Mu: The Hoi Cho Sage.

Fai-Cu Duai: The Jen Lai Guard Chief

Cai-Ci Mi: The Min Cho Intendant

Cai-Ci gives you a Shining Pearl after you listen to his speech and tells you to return to Liao Fa-Ling in Zora. Upon your return, Liao has the Pop Quiz ready, and if you fail, you have to run all over Cities of Intuition again. As extra insurance, here are the answers.

Now, Liao has another request: Take a Purified Sap Preparation to a soul ailing from the effects of the Goo aka Lenja Lunatic.

Again, a repeat map so you don't have to scroll up:

#5 is Lenja Lunatic's approximate location. She wanders between Hoi Cho and Still Waters. You can spot her from a distance as she wanders alone, and is dressed in white Zoraï Light Armor. Stop Lenja and give her the Purified Sap Liao gave you to relieve her misery. Poor Lenja, if only she hadn't messed with the Goo when she was young!

Liao still isn't done with you! Now, she wants your money! Give her 100,000 dappers, yes I said 100,000, for the Dynastic Treasury and she gladly welcomes you in the ranks of the Zoraï Initiates! After all that running, s'about dang time!

And, as if that wasn't enough to blow your mind, we still haven't even touched upon what to do with all that Kami fame after you get it!
Important Things to Know: In order to declare Kami, you must have at least 30 fame. In order to get Kami TP's in areas with non-neutral Kami tp's (Maiden Grove for example), you must have 33 Kami fame. To get the TP's in the 250 Zones (Void, Lagoons of Loria, Grove of Confusion, Scorched Corridor) or any of the Prime Roots Zones, you must have at least 60 Kami fame. Have 50,000 dappers on hand, if you don't have that kind of cash liquid, ask Aera to tap into her 'Special New Kamist Donation Fund' for you.
Here are the locations of the important NPC's:

At the Temple, speak to Chaoi, the Ma-Duk Bonzi. Select the 'Convert to the religion of Ma-Duk' option.
Chaoi will ask you three questions as a test of your faith. The answers are:
1. Giver of Life
2. Enlightenment toward Kami Age
3. 8
Upon recieving your correct answers, Chaoi will send you off to kill a Karavaneer guard. Yes, my lovies, this means more blood must be shed!
The Karavaneer Guard wanders the area in Northwest of Mektoub Waterhole/North of Qai-Du Workshop. Find him and kick his bum in the name of Ma-Duk, then return to Chaoi.
Chaoi will ask for 50,000 dappers, yup more dap, who knew?!, for the Kamist coffers. Fork it over and you will be handed a snazzy new title 'Kami Disciple'!

Silly Disclaimer: I'm sure there are more Kami missions available from NPC's I somehow missed. If you know of any, give me a shout so I can update the map and FAQ. :D

I put KipeeCraft now online for everyone. I don't see a point in hiding as the craft code is freely available with ryzom's source now.

Though I started a little experiment with it, there has always been the thesis that advanced tools will kill the crafters community.
I wanted to know for sure and added my tools to the KC release. I don't mind anymore. After all those kind of things will be created in no time now.

So just to let you know here aswell, I put it up at http://www.puyo.de/KC/ even updated the documentation abit :)

I miss you all, let's hope I can return next break and ryzom is still here.

*hugs*

arc
